Another inspiring event I captured this month - @goodspiritfestival with the Ministry of Good Spirit. Workshops, exhibitors, keynotes and music focused around our connection to nature, building a better world with compassion, and supporting Ukraine in their fight for peace and keeping their cultural legacy alive.

We heard amazing performances including the Good Spirit theme song Hellempi Maailma (A Gentler World) by @saimaaband and the @ministryofgoodspirit2 announced new exciting plans including the @music.solovey project, so expect to hear more from them in the future!

Iranian band Pallett is, in their own words, the a

Iranian band Pallett is, in their own words, the alternative voice of Iran’s current generation; a mix of contemporary and classical Persian poetry; a dialog between today’s social issues and their cultural heritage. They visited Helsinki earlier this month as part of their World Tour, and I had the pleasure of documenting the evening.

The energy was incredible as the band performed a full set of music from their 15 years of history and from Iranian popular culture. For Persian speakers, there was a deep sense of connection and nostalgia, and even non-Persian speakers were engaged with the heart and soul that the band radiated through the night.
